After a degree in Psychology, Misia went to America to take a post-grad degree in Sports Psychology.
After working as an international gymnastics coach, Misia became a Lecturer at Brunel University, becoming Deputy Head of the School for Sport & Education. She has worked with international sprinters, as well as with coaches and athletes in tennis, fencing and yachting.
Misia has worked with the England Women's Senior team since the Summer of 2004, providing psychological support for players and working to help develop the mental side of their game.
She is also currently a senior lecturer at Brunel University where she lectures on applied sport psychology and coaching programmes
