Bellingham strikes for England

England U21s began their quest for a third successive Euros triumph on Monday with an away game in Kazakhstan and the marathon journey proved worthwhile for Lee Carsley and his side as they ran out 2-0 winners.

Ethan Nwaneri of Arsenal opened the scoring before Jobe Bellingham scored his first goal for the under-21 side.

The midfielder missed out on this summer's celebrations after his move to Borussia Dortmun meant he was playing in the Club World Cup instead but looks set to play a key part in the bid to win the trophy once again in 2027.

England now face a trip to Moldova three days before the Andorra game at Derby County's Pride Park stadium on Monday 13th October.

Tickets for the 7.45pm kick-off are priced at £15 for adults and £7.50 for concessions with discounts available for Derby County season ticket holders.
