| Wes Brown should be fit for England's World Cup campaign, despite a foot injury ruling him out of the next six weeks of Manchester United's season. |
The centre-back broke a bone in his left foot in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Wolves, a repeat of an injury he suffered last year.
“It's just unfortunate. He has had a career blighted by injury and they've all been long ones, and now he has another. I hope to get him back for some of the season,” said Sir Alex Ferguson, the Manchester United manager.
Brown will miss four Premier League games, and the quarter-finals of the Champions League should United progress past AC Milan in the last 16 this week. |
