December Draw Will Give Some World Cup Clarity

From fans at risk of hooligans to players in danger from wild animals, what awaits England in Russia has been the subject of plenty of speculation this week.

The draw for the finals takes place on 1 December and this will give a much clearer idea of England’s itinerary and how easy or difficult it will then be for supporters to follow them, allowing supporter's groups like the FSF to give advice and help to those wishing to travel.

A recent piece in World Soccer magazine, by respected journalist Kier Radnedge, highlighted a couple of issues that could make journeys much smoother for fans but that remain up in the air, namely whether new flight paths will be in place so that fans can fly directly between regional venues and not through Moscow and will ticket holders be able to make use of free train travel as has been promised?

The gov.uk website also has a guide to Russia for those supporters thinking of making the trip.
