Qualification for the Nations League Finals means there is a twin focus for the England team in 2019.

The job in hand at the beginning of the year is making the finals of Euro 2020 with qualifiers commencing against the Czech Republic at Wembley on 22nd March and then in Montenegro three days later.

Before England resume that particular task they jet off to Portugal for the final four of the Nations League and a semi-final tie with the Netherlands in Guimaraes on 6th June.

A shortened qualification schedule means the remaining international weeks of 2019 are all about Euro 2020 and a trio of double-headers.

Bulgaria and Kosovo come to Wembley on 7th and 10th September, England travel to the Czech Republic and Bulgaria on 11th and 14th October and then finish off with matches against Montenegro at home on 14th November and Kosovo away three days later.
