Phil Neville has named a 30-strong squad for an upcoming training camp and says England Women are at a 'critical moment' in their development as they eye success at the delayed 2022 European Championships and the following year's World Cup.

With players based overseas not called up due to quarantine restrictions, seven new faces are included as Neville, who won't be in charge for those tournaments as his contract expires next year, looks to set the Three Lions on the road to glory.

"It is important that we offer as many opportunities as possible for some of the country's best young talent to stake their claim for a place in the senior England squad for this exciting three-year period," he said as preparations begin for a friendly against Germany in late October.

Lucy Bronze will link up with England as a Manchester City player once again having left Lyon following a three-year spell in which her club won the Champions League each year and returned to her former side.
