England C, the representative side chosen from under-23 players outside of the Football League, travel to face their Welsh counterparts later this month.

Manager Paul Fairclough has named his squad with a number of players looking to make their international debut and follow in the footsteps of some illustrious names who have pulled on the England C shirt over the years.

"I've selected a group of technical players who will want to get the ball and play as much as we can," he told The Non-League Paper.

As well as the game against Wales (drawn from players in the Cymru Premier), at Caernarfon Town on 24 March, England C will also play a friendly with the Nepal national side at Aldershot Town (tickets priced at £10 and £5) on 25 May.

As well as competitive matches, the Nepal game shows the representative value of the England C team as it forms the showpiece of a 'festival of football' in the Aldershot area where a large number of Nepalese people live.
