England Get Set for Wembley Send-Off

England host Nigeria at Wembley on Saturday in the first of two warm-up matches for Russia 2018 that are designed to give Gareth Southgate's side a taste of different styles before they embark on their World Cup journey.

The Super Eagles will hopefully prepare England for their Group G opener against another of the African qualifiers Tunisia while Thursday's game against Costa Rica pits the Three Lions with Central American opposition before the meeting with Panama on 24 June.

A large contingent of Nigeria supporters should be in attendance at Wembley on Saturday and with a number of current or former Premier League players in their squad the visitors will be keen to make an impression on their hosts especially as final places in the Super Eagles squad have yet to be confirmed.

Gareth Southgate of course has chosen a different path to many of his coaching counterparts by naming his final 23 early and that will hopefully mean a solid week of build-up results in a positive send-off from Wembley before the Three Lions head north to Leeds for their final warm-up ahead of the trip to Russia.
