Having opted to leave Manchester City in January and make the move to Serie A with AC Milan, Kyle Walker has made a positive impression in his first few weeks with the Italian giants, keeping alive his hopes of edging closer to a century of England caps from his current total of 93.
Walker has earned praise for his fledgling partnership with central defender Fikayo Tomori, out of the England picture since the game against Malta in November 2023 but in an area of the pitch where Thomas Tuchel may not be blessed with too many options when he comes to pick his first squad in March.
Tomori had already made a loan move to Milan when Tuchel arrived as Chelsea boss but Tammy Abraham did play under the German at Stamford Bridge.
The striker would appear to be down the pecking order, having not featured in a Three Lions shirt since the summer of 2022 but could yet catch the eye if Tuchel takes a trip to Italy in the next few weeks.
