Harry Kane has issued a positive bulletin on his rehabilitation, the England skipper providing a boost to Tottenham supporters and Gareth Southgate as he posted a workout video just a week or so after undergoing surgery.

Kane is five caps away from his international half-century and will be aiming to join the ranks of those to have made 50 England appearances either just before or during Euro 2020,

The Three Lions talisman was handed his debut by Roy Hodgson in the 4-0 European Championship qualifying win against Lithuania at Wembley in March 2015, joining the fray as a substitute and taking just two minutes to notch his first goal in an England shirt.

Handed the captaincy for the World Cup qualifer at Hampden Park in June 2017 saw Kane embark on a rich run of goalscoring form for his country with 14 in 10 including the golden start to Russia 2018 that earned him the accolade of top marksman at the tournament.

And the ending of a relatively barren run with the late winner against Croatia last November has set Kane off on another hot streak and to a current total of 32 goals.

That sees him in sixth place in the all-time England scorers list with eight more strikes now needed to draw level with Michael Owen in fifth.
