England-Born Duo In USA Squad

Cameron Carter-Vickers and Antonee Robinson are part of an inexperienced USA squad for this week's game at Wembley as caretaker coach Dave Sarachan has continued his policy of blooding younger players in the Stars and Stripes national team.

Tottenham defender Carter-Vickers, currently on loan at Swansea, and Everton's Robinson, also out on loan at Wigan Athletic, were both born in the UK but are eligible for the USA through their fathers.

A famous surname in Sarachan's squad is that of Tim Weah, son of AC Milan legend George, and looking to make the breakthrough currently into a star-studded Paris St Germain side.

17 of the 28-player squad are aged 23 or less and 18 of them have 10 caps or fewer according to the official US Soccer Federation website.

Speaking to that website, Sarachan said: "Playing England at Wembley is the opportunity of a lifetime, and our players will have the added bonus of facing a team that is clearly on the rise as they showed with their run to the World Cup Semifinals this past summer."
