Both the Women's World Cup and European Under-21 Championships will be played in attractive destinations next summer and should provide a tournament football fix for England supporters, especially with Euro 2020 being played across the whole continent (and with the semi-finals and final at Wembley) and the next World Cup scheduled for Qatar.

England Women secured their place at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup last week, breaking down spirited Welsh resistance in Newport to guarantee top spot in their qualifying group.

They will now embark on a tough series of friendly matches, starting with a double-header against Brazil (at Notts County) and Australia (at Fulham) in early October.

Early-bird tickets for both matches are currently available priced at £7.50 for adults and just £1 for concessions.

Next summer's World Cup takes place in France from 7 June to 7 July with Paris hosting the opening game and Lyon both semi-finals and the final.

Aidy Boothroyd's England Under-21 side, meanwhile, are well placed to qualify for the 2019 European Championship with a five-point gap at present to the Netherlands who they play this week at Carrow Road.

Next summer's tournament is being hosted by Italy and San Marino between 16-30 June.
