England's Women booked their place at the 2019 World Cup on Friday evening after breaking down stubborn Wales resistance with three second-half goals in Newport to ensure they top their qualifying group with a game still to play.

Manager Phil Neville said afterwards: "I am happy we are going to France, I am not totally happy with the way we played, we can play better but we have some good players.

"Our plan is now to play five or six of the top eight [in the world] and when we get to France we want to know where we are."

The 2019 Women's World Cup will take place at nine venues across France between 7 June and 7 July. Paris will host the opening game and Lyon the semi-finals and final.
