Rams Reunion for two of England's 100 Club

Ashley Cole has made a surprise return to English football with Derby County, linking up with Rams manager and former club and country colleague Frank Lampard.

The duo are part of the elite club of England players to have earned 100 caps for their country although their international careers were not without difficult moments as they experienced occasional negativity from supporters as part of the 'golden generation' of Premier League stars who came up short in the big tournaments.

Cole, who is set to retire at the end of the season, is the last member of England's 2002 World Cup squad to still be playing.

His namesake Joe, who also had a spell playing in the USA recently, is also back in English football with a coaching role at former club Chelsea while David Beckham has joined his 'Class of 92' colleagues in making an investment into National League club Salford City.
