Summer 2019: Portugal, France or Italy?

England supporters have plenty of options for a European break in June or July next year with a trio of Three Lions teams heading to tournaments and all with a good chance of lifting some silverware.

Gareth Southgate's side face the Netherlands in Guimaraes, Portugal on 6 June in their Nations League Semi-Final, following their dramatic victory against Croatia at Wembley in November, with hosts Portugal taking on Switzerland the day before.

If England win it will be off to Porto on 9 June for the first ever Nations League Final.

Fluidity of selection means that some of the current senior squad may yet be part of Aidy Boothroyd's Under-21 party who travel to Italy and San Marino for the European Championships after a flawless qualification campaign.

Pitted in a group with France, Romania and Croatia, England's opening two matches take place in Cesena before they head to Serravalle in San Marino for the fixture against the Croats on 24 June.

France is the destination for England Women and the 2019 FIFA World Cup.

Saturday's draw threw up an opening match against Scotland at the Allianz Riviera Stadum in Nice on 9 June before matches against Argentina (in Le Havre) and Japan back in Nice.
