Ray Wilkins has passed away at the age of 61.

Wilkins captained England on 10 of the 84 occasions he represented his country and played at the 1982 and 1986 World Cups.

His club career took in some of the biggest names in the game as he starred for Chelsea, Manchester United, AC Milan and Rangers.

England manager Gareth Southgate paid tribute to 'a great ambassador for the game, a proud Englishman who loved playing for his country and an absolute gent - a class act.'
