England's opening World Cup opponents have been extending their potential pool of players for Russia 2018.

Tunisia coach Nabil Maaloul has been looking to convince players who are eligible for a call-up to pledge their allegiance to his squad and Leicester City defender Yohan Benalouane has been named for the upcoming friendlies against Iran and Costa Rica.

The former France Under-21 international has previously refused the chance to play for the country of his father's birth but the chance to feature at a World Cup looks to have swayed his mind.

A recent BBC article highlighted how Tunisia, who take on England on 18 June, have looked to France for potential new recruits to their squad.
