Thomas Tuchel has said he is open to the idea of extending his England contract, describing the job as 'a lot of fun' at his press conference to announce the final squad of 2025 for upcoming matches against Serbia and Albania.
With World Cup qualification already secured, Tuchel's focus is firmly on the 2026 World Cup. His 18-month deal expires after the tournament and it was widely assumed that his agreement wth the Football Association would be solely for a shot at glory in North America next summer.
However, with the next European Championships set to be staged by England, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland, could the prospect of glory at Wembley appeal to Tuchel?
"I am in a good place mentally because I love the team, the support from the federation and the direction where it is heading," he said on Friday.
