Women's 2021 Euros The Latest Calendar Change

The 2021 Women’s European Championships, set to be held at venues across England, is set to be the latest major tournament to be rescheduled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Uefa have yet to confirm the change but with qualifying matches currently being postponed and the Tokyo Olympics (where the football tournament will include a number of nations who would also expect to be at the Euros)  moved back to 2021 then a one-year delay looks the most likely option.

For the Football Association it creates a dilemma as to the contract of England manager Phil Neville, whose current deal will now expire before either the Olympics, where he was due to take charge of Team GB, and the European Championships.

Under pressure in recent months because of poor results and commanding a hefty salary, will both parties decide to call time on a managerial experiment that still has the jury firmly out on whether it has been successful or not.
