Noel Blake's side are in Belgium for a four-team tournament, with two nations progressing to the second round of qualifying for a place in next year's finals.

A large number of players were in the U17 team that were crowned European champions in May. Josh McEachran, one of four players in the starting XI who were part of that U17 side, put England ahead after 17 minutes.

Harry Kane doubled the advantage within a minute, while Connor Wickham ensured the score was 3-0 at half-time by scoring just before the break.

Kane scored again to make it 4-0 after 71 minutes. The match was already won, and although Albania pulled one back when Vasil Shkurtaj converted a penalty.

The midfielder Jonjo Shelvey scored a penalty of his own, and Benik Afobe completed the scoring with two minutes to go.
