England secured a place in the final round of qualifying for the European Championship thanks to a goal from Blair Turgott.

The West Ham midfielder scored the only goal of the game after 61 minutes at the Mikheil Meshki Stadium in Tbilisi.

England were the better side, as shown by Poland's failure to create any chances compared to the nine openings forced by the Three Lions.

John Peacock's side progress as Group 3 winners, after a 3-0 win over Sweden and 1-1 draw with Georgia in the four-team tournament.

The hosts Georgia also go through, having secured progression with a 1-0 victory over Sweden.
