England's qualifying games for the 2012 European Championship will be decided by a draw after the five football associations failed to agree on a schedule on Monday.
Football Association officials had met with their counterparts from Switzerland, Wales, Bulgaria and Montenegro in Zurich without settling on a plan.
Uefa will instead select the schedule via a draw during their annual congress meeting in Israel next Tuesday.
