Portugal have sacked Carlos Quieroz as coach after a disappointing start to their European Championship qualifying campaign.
They were held to a 4-4 draw at home to Cyprus on Friday night, and defeated by Norway on Tuesday night.
Quieroz was not in the dugout for either of those matches, having been given a six month suspension for trying to interfere with a drugs test ahead of the World Cup finals.
