Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has dismissed rumours suggesting that he could allow striker Roman Pavlyuchenko to leave the club in the January transfer window.

The Russia international, 26, has scored seven goals in 15 appearances for Spurs since his summer arrival from Spartak Moscow and Redknapp says he has no plans to move Pavlyuchenko on.

"That is absolute rubbish. I have got two strikers available on Saturday, Fraizer Campbell can't play as he can't play against Manchester United and he has a calf strain," he said.

"The two strikers I have got here are Darren Bent and Roman Pavlyuchenko, so how can I be offloading anybody? Pavlyuchenko is a quality player and I don't know where that report has come from."
