The England Women's side will take on Switzerland in a two-legged play-off for a place in next year's World Cup finals.

Hope Powell's side were seeded in the draw after finishing top of their qualifying group.

The first leg will be played at Shrewsbury Town's Greenhous Meadow stadium, on Sunday  September 12. The return fixture will take place on Wednesday 15, or Thursday 16.

The winner of the tie will go to next year's tournament in Germany, while the loser will then go into a four-team play-off with the losing sides. The winner out of those four will then play-off against a team from North or central America.

The other European ties see France take on Italy, Ukraine face Norway and Sweden meet Denmark.
