The Three Lionesses enjoyed much of the possession in the game, with Rachel Yankey curling the best effort of the first-half over the bar after 11 minutes.
Jill Scott also fired over the crossbar with an effort just after the restart, with Alex Scott shooting straight at Minkjung Jun shortly afterwards.
Ellen White brought another save out of Minkjung, while the South Koreans were off target with late efforts from Seoyeon Lim and Yunhee Cha.
