The Croatia striker Ivica Olic has been ruled out of Wednesday's vital World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan after picking up a calf injury during training.
Croatia must beat the Asian nation to have a chance of going into the play-offs for a place in next summer's World Cup finals.
"When I was shooting at goal, I felt as though my calf had burst. It felt as if someone had hit me with a hard object," he said.
