The Football Association have refuted claims that that England's hotel for the World Cup finals in June has already been selected.

Media reports suggested Rustenburg had been selected as a team base, something the England general manager Franco Baldini denied.

He and Fabio Capello, the head coach, will travel to South Africa later this year to view potential hotels and made a decision.

“Our focus will be on the training facilities, geographical location and suitability of the hotel,” he told Thefa.com.

“We are still considering a number of hotels but have not yet decided on the one we want.”
