England take Pride in Australia sell-out

The Lionesses will be backed by a full house in Derby on Tuesday evening, England's friendly against Australia at Pride Park having sold out as supporters come out in force to watch the European champions.

Beaten 2-1 by Brazil on Saturday, England will be hoping to get back to winning ways, and provide a half-term treat for the families watching, against an Australian side containing plenty of familiar names from the WSL.

"The fans have shown so much support for us here in England but also in Switzerland for the Euros," said manager Sarina Wiegman.

"It really helps us and it's one of the reasons why we go around the country. Now it's sold-out and that's incredible. We never take that for granted.

"It's also on a Tuesday evening. There will be great support again. We really appreciate it and enjoy it. We try to connect with our fans all the time."

England have two more home matches before the end of the year, including a Wembley date against China on Saturday 29 November and then at St Mary's, Southampton, when Ghana provide the opposition on 2 December.

Tickets for both of those games are available via the Wembley Stadium page.

England's Women's U23s drew 1-1 with Portugal at Northampton's Sixfields Stadium on Monday evening and also have two further home fixtures remaining in 2025, more details here
