Rashford's redemption as striker starts for England

Marcus Rashford has been named in Thomas Tuchel's first England starting XI with the on-loan Aston Villa forward completing an incredible turnaround in fortunes since being banished from the Manchester United side earlier in the season.

When Tuchel was named as the new England manager late last year, few would have predicted that Rashford would be involved in his first game in charge and even less may have gambled on Newcastle United centre-back Dan Burn stepping out onto the Wembley turf in a Three Lions shirt.

But the hero of the Magpies League Cup victory in London last weekend was also named as a starter for the opening World Cup qualifier against Albania with Arsenal's impressive youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly similarly chosen to make an immediate senior debut.

Liverpool's Curtis Jones gets the nod in midfield with surprise squad recall Jordan Henderson named amongst the substitutes.
