England Women take on Brazil this Saturday in their first match since winning the Euros and their first step on the road to the 2027 World Cup which will be hosted by their weekend opponents.
While Sarina Wiegman's side were sealing their triumph in Switzerland this summer, Brazil lifted the South American equivalent and will provide a different kind of opponent for the Lionesses at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium.
With Millie Bright having retired from international football, captain Leah Williamson out injured and Lauren James also missing, England's evolution continues with new faces in the squad as Wiegman sets out on the path towards the World Cup, qualification for which begins in February 2026.
Before then, England play Australia in their second game of the current international window, China at Wembley towards the end of November and Ghana.
England Women's U23s are also in action this month, taking on Portugal at Northampton's Sixfields Stadium on Monday 27 October at 7pm. Tickets for the game, in the WU23 European competition, are priced at £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 for under-14's.
Supporters who watched the game in Shrewsbury between the two sides last season saw England win by a single goal, scored by striker Michelle Agyemang, the breakout star of this summer's Euros.
