Ipswich Town forward Liam Delap moved into double-figures for Premier League goals on Saturday, netting in a 1-1 draw for his relegation-threatened side away to Aston Villa.
It continues an excellent season for the 22-year-old, signed from Manchester City in the summer after a number of loan moves to the Championship over the past couple of years.
With 10 top-flight goals now to his name, Delap's name is being mentioned as a potential pick for Thomas Tuchel when he names his first England squad.
Speaking to the East Anglian Daily Times this week, Delap discussed the possibility of a senior call having featured for England at all levels from U16 to U21 in his career to date and been a part of the 2022 U19 side that won the European Championships.
"You always think about it," he said.
"You have dreams and goals. Looking ahead, that is a dream of mine, to play for my country."
