England will face Uruguay and Japan at Wembley in March in their final two matches before Thomas Tuchel names his squad for the 2026 World Cup in North America.

Having eased through their qualifying group with little in the way of meaningful tests, Tuchel is keen to see his side in action against quality opposition.

"We wanted to play two teams ranked in the top 20 in the world, but also to test ourselves against opponents from outside of Europe," said the England manager.

His side will play two further warm-up matches in America in early June, prior to their group stages games against Croatia, Ghana and Panama, their opponents being New Zealand and Costa Rica on Saturday 6th and Wednesday 10th respectively at a to be confirmed venue in South Florida.
