Fifa makes (small) change to World Cup prices

A small number of cheaper tickets have been made available for next summer's World Cup, Fifa have announced on Tuesday evening, with 10% of the allocation given to each football association taking part now priced at $60 (£45).

The move comes after a wave of criticism from supporters' group, including the Football Supporters Association (FSA) in the UK and Football Supporters Europe.

For each association, such as the FA in England, it means around 400 tickets for each group stage game will now be available at the lower price.

Hopefully these now find their way into the hands of those who have followed the Three Lions the most around Europe in the past couple of years.

However, FSA chair Tom Greatrex told BBC Sport: "A small proportion of an already small allocation being priced reasonably still leaves the vast majority of supporters who would travel to the World Cup unable to afford to do so."
