Former England manager Steve McClaren remains firmly on course to be involved in the 2026 World Cup as his Jamaica side have safely made their way through to the final round of Concacaf qualification.

The Reggae Boyz eased past Guatemala in midweek to complete a 100% record in the second round of matches and were then given a favourable draw for the decisive stage as they will take on Curacao, Trinidad & Tobago and Bermuda with the group winners qualifying automatically for next summer's jamboree in Canada, Mexico and the USA.

With the three host nations all given automatic berths, the Concacaf region will have at least six participants and potentially a maximum of eight as the two best runners-up will enter the play-off tournament.

Australia and Jordan were among the latest countries to earn their spots for 2026 while Brazil have also confirmed their place to maintain their record of having been at every World Cup.
