Football Association chief executive Mark Bullingham had said before the Euro 2025 final that Sarina Wiegman was 'not for sale at any price' and the England manager has delivered once again with an incredible third successive European Championship success after Sunday's dramatic penalty shoot-out victory against Spain.
A rollercoaster tournament in Switzerland saw England twice go close to being knocked out before dramatic comebacks against Sweden and Italy before they again went a goal down to World champions Spain in Basel.
But Alessia Russo's equaliser and Chloe Kelly's spot-kick winner saw Wiegman's side become the first England team to win a major tournament on foreign soil and provide a huge boost to the domestic game with the majority of her squad set to be be on show in the new WSL season.
Bullingham's faith has been fully justified and Wiegman will now look to go one step further in the World Cup after reaching the final with her native Netherlands in 2019 and England in 2023.
