Buoyed by their impressive 6-0 victory against Portugal at Wembley on Friday evening, England's final Nations League clash provides them with the ultimate test as they travel to Barcelona to face world champions Spain.
Having won all three of their home matches in the competition, including defeating Spain at Wembley, Sarina Wiegman will be looking for an improvement on the road after disappointing results away to Portugal and Belgium earlier this year.
Spain showed their quality, if a reminder was needed, when winning 5-1 in Belgium on Friday evening and both sides will be keen to lay down a marker with just over a month until the European Championships in Switzerland.
Speaking after the Portugal game, Wiegman said: "When we played Spain here, we dropped a little deeper.
“We will review this and make final decisions. Spain are so tight on the ball, so smart, so you have to do that really well. I'm really happy with how the team did today though."
Tuesday's game takes place at the RCDE Stadium, home of Espanyol, where Thomas Tuchel's side meet Andorra in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday.
