Thomas Tuchel has agreed an extended contract with the Football Association, a two-year deal that will see him lead England on home soil at Euro 2028.
Having initially been seen as a manager who would be in charge for this summer's World Cup only, before moving back into club football, Tuchel said on Thursday that he had 'loved every minute' of his time in charge.
The FA moved early to seal the extension and, in their eyes, avoid speculation over Tuchel's future this summer, where they are banking on him delivering on the promise of a perfect qualification campaign.
That means Tuchel will be in place for the next edition of the UEFA Nations League, for which the draw was made on Thursday.
Back in League A of the competition, England have been drawn alongside Spain, Czech Republic and World Cup opponents Croatia with six matches set to take place in the autumn.
