As a new cycle of European Championship qualifiers begin, ahead of the finals in 2021, England Under-21 head coach Aidy Boothroyd will be looking to blood new players and restore his own reputation, damaged by a poor tournament in Italy this summer in which his selction and tactics came under scrutiny.

Chief among the criticisms was that Phil Foden was not given enough game time and the Manchester City midfielder, praised highly by club boss Pep Guardiola this week, is set to become the main man for the Under-21's as older players move on.

The first home Euro qualifier is set for Yorkshire...

And that is followed by the visit of Austria to Milton Keynes on Tuesday 15th October.

Early-bird adult tickets are available for both, priced at £10, until 19th August with all Under-16 tickets £1.

And England Under-20's kick off their new season against the Netherlands at Shrewsbury Town on Thursday 5th September with tickets priced at £5/£1 and free for Under-12's.
