The transfer deadline has passed with no moves for any of Gareth Southgate's World Cup squad

Most of the speculation since England's run to the semi-finals of Russia 2018 has been focused on Harry Maguire of Leicester City amidst reported interest from Manchester United but Thursday's 5pm deadline passed with no news of any move.

Maguire will be at Old Trafford on Friday evening but as part of a Foxes defence that will be aiming to keep out his international colleagues Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford when the Premier League season opens.

And Jamie Vardy will be looking to celebrate his new four-year deal at the King Power Stadium.

"Everybody knows how I feel about playing for this club," said the 31-year-old.

Barcelona defender Yerry Mina, scorer of Colombia's stoppage-time equaliser in the dramatic last-16 tie in Russia, will be playing in front of Jordan Pickford after agreeing a move to Everton while the man Pickford succeeded as England's number one will look to revive his club and country career after a deadline move.

Joe Hart joined Burnley earlier this week and has been plunged straight into a Europa League tie in Turkey against Basaksehir on Thursday evening.
