Jordan Pickford has been named as the England Under-21 Player of the Year for 2017.

The England Supporters Club cast their votes for the Everton goalkeeper who is now firmly in the running for a World Cup 2018 spot.

"It’s also about putting in performances week in, week out at club level and that too helped to earn the chance to make my England debut," Pickford told the FA website.

"Representing your country as a young lad is what you dream of."
