In-Form Everton Star Handed England Call

Gareth Southgate has named his squad for a triple-header of upcoming fixtures with England set to face Wales in a friendly and both Belgium and Denmark in the Nations League, all at Wembley.

Following a drab start to the new season in Iceland and Denmark last month, Three Lions boss Southgate will hope that the Premier League's in-form striker, Dominic Calvert-Lewin of Everton, can spark his side into life in what are set to be tough tests against a motivated Welsh side and the world's top-ranked team in the shape of Belgium.

A first call-up for Calvert-Lewin was widely flagged up but there are also debut squad bows for Harvey Barnes of Leicester and Bukayo Saka of Arsenal.

Harry Maguire returns to the fold after being withdrawn from the party that travelled to Scandinavia but Phil Foden and Mason Greenwood's punishment for being sent home from that trip is to miss out this time after which Southgate will consider the slate wiped clean for the Manchester pair.
