Lee Carsley has named his squad for the opening qualifier in Kazakhstan as England men's under-21s begin their bid to win a third successive Euros crown.
Elliott Anderson and Tino Livramento from the triumphant summer squad have earned senior calls in Thomas Tuchel's first squad of the season but Carsley has named a number of those players who served him so well in Slovakia, including goalkeeper James Beadle and Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri.
A strong-looking squad also includes Rico Lewis of Manchester City, Newcastle's Lewis Miley and Everton's big-money new signing Tyler Dibling.
Squads have also been named for England's other age group teams, including the men's under-20's.
They take on Italy early next month, a first fixture of the season for the Young Lions and a chance for supporters to see the next generation of stars in action.
The game takes place at the SMH Stadium, home of Chesterfield FC, on Friday 5th September at 7.30pm with tickets priced at just £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 for under-14's.
Tickets are available direct from Chesterfield FC with the Spireites ground handily placed just off the A61 if coming by car and also accessible from the town centre by foot or taxi if arriving by train.
